After just placing 5th at the Arnold Classic in Columbus, Cedric McMillan managed to finally win at the FIBO Pro Show in Germany. Last week he wanted to do excactly the same at the Arnold Brazil, but as we already reported he didnt step on stage. Now, here is why:
Due to very heavy traffic in Rio on the day before the competition, Cedric didnt manage to be on time at the athletes meeting to receive his number and provide his music.
Despite his latest victory, the IFBB acted strictly according to their rules, which say, athletes that are not enlisted on time are not allowed to compete. A later enrollment is not possible.
An so Cedric made the whole long way to brazil for nothing. In the score cards you will see a "DNS" in his row, which means "did not show up".
So one man's sorrow is the other one's joy: Brandon Curry used that chance and achieved his first pro victory. More about the Arnold Classic Brazil incl. full results and scorecards can be found here.
